
Beef And Rice Bake - Thermomix Cook

Ingredients
- 500 gms heart smart beef mince
- 1 cup aborio rice uncooked
- 400 gms can tomatoes
- 2 tbls balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbls worstershire sauce
- 2 tbls tomato paste
- 1 cup mozzerella cheese
- 2 tsp dried mix Italian herbs
- Salt/Pepper
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 1 cup beef stock
Instructions
TRADITIONAL COOK
- Cook onion mince & garlic until browned
- Add all other ingredients, except the cheese, bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes,
- Transfer mixture into a Pyrex dish (2.6lt capacity roughly) and sprinkle cheese on top
- Bake in oven for 45mins at 180c.
THERMOMIX COOK
- Add Onions & garlicPut on lid with MC Cup4 Seconds | Speed 51 onion diced, 2 cloves garlic grated
- Scrape down the bowlAdd Beef (broken up)Put on lid and Simmer Basket5 mins | Varoma | REVERSE | Speed STIR500 gms heart smart beef mince
- Add all other ingredients - EXCEPT CheeseGive mixture a good stir with the spatulaPut on lid and Simmer Basket (This does splatter)15 mins | 100 degrees | REVERSE | Speed 21 cup aborio rice, 400 gms can tomatoes, 2 tbls balsamic vinegar, 3 tbls worstershire sauce, 2 tbls tomato paste, 2 tsp dried mix Italian herbs, Salt/Pepper, 1 cup beef stock
