
Beef And Rice Bake - Traditional Cook
Ingredients
- 500 gms heart smart beef mince
- 1 cup aborio rice uncooked
- 400 gms can tomatoes
- 2 tbls balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbls worstershire sauce
- 2 tbls tomato paste
- 1 cup mozzerella cheese
- 2 tsp dried mix Italian herbs
- Salt/Pepper
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 1 cup beef stock
Instructions
TRADITIONAL COOK
- Cook onion mince & garlic until browned1 onion diced, 2 cloves garlic grated
- Add all other ingredients, except the cheese, bring to the boil and simmer for a few minutes,500 gms heart smart beef mince, 1 cup aborio rice, 400 gms can tomatoes, 2 tbls balsamic vinegar, 3 tbls worstershire sauce, 2 tbls tomato paste, 2 tsp dried mix Italian herbs, Salt/Pepper, 1 cup beef stock
- Transfer mixture into a Pyrex dish (2.6lt capacity roughly) and sprinkle cheese on top1 cup mozzerella cheese
- Bake in oven for 45mins at 180c.




Along with many of Anna’s recipes, I’ve been making this for years and it is always enjoyed in our household. Very tasty, easy to make, and I love the leftovers.
