Overnight Oats - Apple Pie With Salted Date Caramel
Ingredients
To make apple base
- 1 cup oats
- 3/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 130 g 0.5% plain Chobani yoghurt
- 1 Apple grated or finely chopped
- 1 Apple sliced cooked in cinnamon & water I slice mine and add 1tbls water, pinch of cinnamon & microwave for 2-3 minutes or you can use tin apples
To make the caramel
- 6 Medjool Dates
- 1/4-3/4 cup of water add as needed
- 1/2 tsp of Pink Salt Flakes
Instructions
To make apple base
- Spoon cooked apple at the bottom of each jar. Mix all other ingredients together and add oats evenly to Jars. Finish off with a dollop (1-2tsp ) of Salted date Caramel.
To make the caramel
- Blend together in a really good blender until smooth and creamy.
- This will make a fair bit.
- Leftover sauce is lovely spooned over yoghurt or as a dip.
