
Anzac Biscuit
Ingredients
- 1 cup sifted plain flour
 - 1 cup rolled oats
 - 1/3 cup brown sugar
 - 1/3 cup coconut
 - 100 gms butter
 - 2 Tbls golden syrup
 - 1 Tbls water
 - 1/2 tsp bi carb soda
 
Instructions
- Sift flour to a bowl, add all dry ingredients excluding bi carb soda.
 - To a saucepan add butter and melt, pour in golden syrup & water, once bubbling, remove from heat and add bicarbonate soda, it should be frothy whilst stirring together.
 - Add liquid to dry ingredients, mix well.
 - Roll dough into 30 even balls using a cookie scoop to ensure even sized biscuits.
 - Place on a lined baking try and flatten.
 - Bake at 180c 15-20 mins.
