Filo Pasties
Ingredients
- 6 sheets Filo pastry
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 bags of steam fresh frozen peas carrot & corn
- 1 onion diced
- 400 gm lean beef mince
- 1 tbls Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbls original gravy powder
- 1 tbls tomato paste
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/2 tsp mixed dried herbs
- Oil spray
Instructions
- In a non stock fry pan, sauté onion and beef and mushrooms once browned
- Add frozen vegetables, cook for 3-4 minutes
- Add Worcestershire sauce, gravy powder, tomato paste and seasonings, cook a further 2 minutes
Cool mixture
- Layer one Filo pastry sheet over the other spraying with oil spray to stick them together
- Cut the pastry in half and add approx 1/2 cup maybe a bit more per pastry half and fold into a triangle shape, or any shape you like.
- Repeat with remaining pastry, place parcels onto a lined baking tray, spray the tops lightly (option of sprinkling with poppy-seeds or sesame seeds)
- Bake in a 180c fan forced oven for 30-40 minutes - checking regularly
