
Moist Banana & Choc Chip Cake
Oh my goodness this turned out to be AMAZING!
Super rich & sweet so you don’t need much.
But definitely worth making it and it’s such an easy quick bake!
Hope you give it a go.
Ingredients
- 1 cup self raising flour
 - 1 cup Kellogg’s original all bran
 - 1 cup 230g chopped pitted Medjool dates
 - 250 g 3 medium mashed ripe bananas
 - 1 egg
 - 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
 - 1 tsp cinnamon
 - 1 tsp vanilla essence
 - 60 g Cadbury baking choc chips
 
Instructions
- Mash banana into a mixing bowl, add all bran, chopped dates, cinnamon, vanilla, egg & milk, mix together.
 - Let sit for 5 mins.
 - Add 1/2 cup of flour at a time, mixing in between.
 - Pour batter into a lined 20x20 square baking tin, scatter over the choc chips & bake at 160c (fan forced)
 - 25 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
